The trout pout is an error made when using lip filler(juvederm) where the amount of filler material is distributed evenly across the entire upper and lower lip turning the lips out in an odd fish-like fashion, which you can see on many celebrity photographs. It is the result of too much filler, and not enough sculpting, in that a little more sculpting on each side of the lip would produce two natural curves in both the upper and lower lips. We do like to accentuate or improve the very border of the lip between the normal skin and the colored skin of the lip, but this has to be done in a very subtle fashion. The Parisian-style lip is attractive if not overdone, and this is best achieved by filling the filtrums, which are the two little columns of soft tissue that run from between the nostrils to the upper lip.
